I really respect this brother's perspective and his ability to articulate how downloading positively and negatively affects artists, musicians and entertainers (yes there is a difference...i.e Maxwell, Travis Barker, Rihanna respectively).
I especially dig the analogy he made between homemade mixtapes and downloaded compilations.

I was watching the Jay-Z interview on Bill Maher, and he also spoke about arranging the music on his albums in a way he felt the listeners would want to hear it...and i never really thought about that at all....maybe my relationship with music isn't everytihng it could be...
